About:

RIAs or EIAs or ELISAs for detection and quantification for specific antigenes

Test:

A high affinity purification column was use to purify FCGR1A, ID (FCGR1A, FCG1, FCGR1, IGFR1, immunoglobulin gamma Fc receptor I, Fc-gamma RI, Fc-gamma RIA, CD64) by MyBioSource by chromatographic size exclusion.

Description:

The receptors are ligand binding factors of type 1, 2 or 3 and protein-molecules that receive chemical-signals from outside a cell. When such chemical-signals couple or bind to a receptor, they cause some form of cellular/tissue-response, e.g. a change in the electrical-activity of a cell. In this sense, am olfactory receptor is a protein-molecule that recognizes and responds to endogenous-chemical signals, chemokinesor cytokines e.g. an acetylcholine-receptor recognizes and responds to its endogenous-ligand, acetylcholine. However, sometimes in pharmacology, the term is also used to include other proteins that are drug-targets, such as enzymes, transporters and ion-channels.Radio Immuno Assays are radioactive linked immunosorbent assays that even more than ELISA kits can detect very small levels of antigens. Small proteins, and hormones in blood or serum can be detected by RIAs. The result will be expressed in a XY graphic in which the ration is inverse to the signal.
